Carrier Airways was certificated as an on demand FAR Part 135 Air Carrier by the FAA in 2016 and based in Portsmouth NH. It was started by a team of aviation professionals who owned and managed Pan Am Airlines in the 2000’s and operated under the brand of Pan Am.

Company History
In September 2023 NAH Holdings LLC acquired Carrier Airways. NAH Holdings is a partnership formed by SMN Investments and Azure Holdings, both Tennessee based companies with significant experience in the aviation industry.
SMN Investments, based in Greeneville TN has started and owned companies that operated aircraft under FAR 91 and 135 for four decades and is also a partner in other aviation ventures including Purdue Aviation in Lafayette Indiana.
Azure Holdings owns and operates two Fixed Based Operations in Tennessee. The owners of Azure Holdings have owned and managed FAR 135 Charter operations, FAR 145 repair stations, FAR 141 flight schools and multiple Fixed Based Operations in Tennessee over the past four decades.
The partners who formed NAH Holdings to purchase Carrier Airways have a vision of building a high quality – high integrity Tennessee based aircraft charter and management company using the knowledge and wisdom gained over the past 40 years of starting, building and owning successful aviation and transportation / logistics businesses.
